for this imposing need of liberty …
for this jubilation when I improvise …
for this necessary function of the imagination…
to say without concluding…
for going beyond appearance…
looking for the connivance between what makes the world and what shapes me…
for this spontaneous movement of self, this projection of my inner self…
for this return to the basics of all that is art…
I look to give the artwork a dimension, the dimension of the emotional charge… The sensible and the intuition guide my actions. The artwork defines itself according to my needs, my desires, and according to what reaches and touches me. To that I must be faithful in order for the form of the artwork to be the prolongation of what I feel and what I live.
I play and I stretch the limits of the organized, of the determined, the finalized, and if reference there is, I look for distance to affranchise myself of what is evident.
I need a certain wandering, a feeling of transport, a space that calls for travels. The artwork’s breath is this space to be found, this poetic transportation, this unsaid that interrogates me.
